I enjoy street photography, reportage and documentary photography; watching people, looking for unusual geometry, and then the challenge of anticipating and catching that decisive moment as an image. I mainly use black and white for my street photography as I prefer it, and it reminds me of the photography I grew up with. I mainly use Fuji x-series cameras, but some of my photos are taken with Canon 7D and XS200 and even an iPhone.

I live near Verona in Italy, and much of my street photography is taken in the beautiful streets of Verona, but I also enjoy street photography in Italy, in any village, town or city I visit. I also enjoy street photography in European cities when I visit them, including street photography in Paris, Munich and other great cities.

Inspired by the book "Robert Doisneau Paris" and books of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Vivian Maier's photography, I recently decided to try street photography, and I thought it would be interesting to publish some of my photographs in order to share my growing enthusiasm in an area I had never previously explored.

There are many books devoted to street photography, and there have been, and there are some truly amazing street photographers who have set a hard path to follow……

Over time I hope to share some interesting Italian street and documentary photography, and also street and documentary photographs taken in France, Germany and other European countries. Most of the street photographs, however, will be taken in Verona Italy, my home city.

Ideal and affordable cameras for street photography include the Fuji x100 and the Fuji x-Pro 1 Rangefinder style cameras, both discreet and versatile without the massive costs of Leica cameras and lenses, but which still manage to achieve stunning image quality and are stealthy enough to work well as street cameras.
